Erfolgreiche mm-Wellen-DXpedition deutscher Funkamateure an der Irischen See

Nach den mm-Wellen-DXpeditionen der vergangenen Jahre an der Ostsee (2016) sowie am Ärmelkanal (2017) brachen auch in diesem Jahr deutsche Funkamateure zu einer GHz-Aktivität an die Irische See auf. Bei der Aktion vom 7.8.2018 bis 15.8.2018 kamen mehrere Hundert Funkverbindungen auf den Bändern zwischen 10 GHz bis 76 GHz zustande.

6 contacts seulement pour cette session 2018.
Pas eu le temps nécessaire pour rester à la station pour profiter des conditions.
De plus, avec un pic prévu le 12/13 et donc surtout le lundi matin 13 pas facile. J’ai réalisé la majeure partie des contacts dimanche matin. Et, grande première, premier QSO réalisé en remote avec la station VHF le lendemain avec 9A/S54O.
Néanmoins, quelques carrés nouveaux contactés avec un ODX à 1660 km avec LZ5D en random.


Ca n’a pas de lien direct avec les cailloux, mais je suis resté bloqué sur un graphique qui est publié sur le site de l’International Meteor Organization (IMO: https://www.imo.net ) .
Le graphique (ci-dessous) représente l’évolution du nombre d’observateurs et les heures cumulées d’observations entre 1980 et maintenant.
On note une érosion continue depuis le début des années 2000.
Ca ne vous rappelle rien ? Est-ce un maux qui touche toutes les activités techniques et scientifiques amateurs ?
Je continue à m’interroger. Un sociologue dans la salle ?
