EURAO's presence at the German exhibition last June was dedicated to show up projects and activities with the kids that are just discovering amateur radio benefits, and promote its proposal of: "2024, the year of children and young radio amateurs!".

With this idea in mind, EURAO invites radio amateurs around the world to spend more time setting up projects and offering help to children and young radio amateurs to find out more about our hobby.

Así que EURAO tendrá de nuevo un stand (A1-994), al lado del CISAR (A1-990), en HAM RADIO 2023 (23-25 junio) para atender a sus miembros, amigos y visitantes, escuchar sus opiniones y compartir experiencias.

La Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones (UIT) admitió a EURAO como miembro de sector en junio, justo un par de días antes de la feria HAM RADIO, aunque la carta oficial llegó más tarde. Este es el motivo de que estuvieramos tan contentos después de cinco años persiguiendo ese objetivo.

Ahora la Radioafición ya no está representada por una única organización. Cuantas más, mejor. Nuestra más sincera gratitud a todos aquellos miembros que han creído en este proyecto.

El presidente de REF, F5DJL, visitó el stand de EURAO en la HAM RADIO 2019 y se reunió con su Secretario General, EA3CIW, quien, una semana antes, le había enviado un correo electrónico ofreciendo apoyo y colaboración en el asunto 144-146 MHz ante la Administración francesa.

Téngase en cuenta que la sede actual de EURAO se encuentra en Francia.

Ambos intercambiaron puntos de vista e inquietudes y coincidieron en la importancia de abordar este problema con diligencia y tratando de alcanzar el máximo consenso.

Friedrichshafen sigue siendo el mejor lugar de encuentro para los radioaficionados europeos y EURAO estuvo allí para mantener el contacto con sus miembros y amigos, contactar con otras entidades y celebrar su Asamblea General.

La Asamblea fue muy bien y todos los puntos fueron aprobados por unanimidad, incluyendo la estrategia común para abordar la amenaza sobre la banda de 144-146 MHz. Se comentaron varios proyectos nuevos y también se pusieron en marcha.

El próximo año esperamos veros por allí los días 26-28 junio, 2020.

Meeting once a year in Friedrichshafen is a real pleasure and the opportunity to listen others' ideas, share experiences and discuss about common issues. So we did, but instead of waiting in the booth, the president went to the middle of the fair.

Other activities, such as the EURAO's General Assembly and the ID-CCS7 workshop of DR@F for French operators, took place in the booth.

Next year we will see there in June 21-23, 2019.

Being all member associations' booths close to each other in HAM RADIO 2017 exhibition was an excellent opportunity to continuously interact, try to find new common projects to carry on and receive feedback to improve old ones.

EURAO, ARR, CISAR, FEDI-EA, FRC, RNRE, URC and VRA were together in the same row: the EURAO Boulevard. In the picture during the General Assembly.

This is the detailed plan of EURAO Boulevard inside the HAM RADIO exhibition, to be held in Germany this year on 14-16 July. As you can see, in addition to EURAO booth (A1-662), there will be around also booths of the following member associations: RNRE (A1-660), CISAR (A1-666), URC (A1-661), ARR (A1-663), FRC (A1-665) and FEDI-EA (A1-667). Other member associations, like VRA, will be inside EURAO booth attending members, friends and visitors, listening opinions and sharing experiences.

10th anniversary of EURAO and fourth time attending the exhibition in Friedrichshafen.

Lots of hams to greet and exchange views. Members, yes, but also friends. Some of them old friends of each year. Others just met for the first time. True ham spirit in the air. That's our hobby, that's EURAO.

In the last General Assembly (2015-06-27) a new Board of Directors was elected for a period of two years: President ON4PM, Vicepresident YO9RIJ, Secretary-General EA3CIW and Treasurer EA3CWZ.
