EURAO's presence at the German exhibition last June was dedicated to show up projects and activities with the kids that are just discovering amateur radio benefits, and promote its proposal of: "2024, the year of children and young radio amateurs!".

With this idea in mind, EURAO invites radio amateurs around the world to spend more time setting up projects and offering help to children and young radio amateurs to find out more about our hobby.

After the worst moments of the pandemic, it is time to return to the German exhibition.

So, EURAO will once again have a booth (A1-994), beside CISAR (A1-990), at HAM RADIO 2023 (June 23-25) to attend members, friends and visitors, listening opinions and sharing experiences.

L'Union Internationale des Télécommunications (UIT) a admis EURAO en tant que membre du secteur en juin, quelques jours seulement avant le salon HAM RADIO, bien que la lettre officielle soit arrivée plus tard. C'est pourquoi nous étions si heureux après cinq ans de poursuite de cet objectif.

Maintenant, le Radioamateurisme n'est plus représentée par une seule organisation. Plus c'est mieux. Un sincère merci à tous les membres qui ont cru en ce projet.

Le président du REF, F5DJL, s'est rendu sur le stand de l'EURAO à HAM RADIO 2019 et a rencontré le Secrétaire Général, EA3CIW, qui, une semaine auparavant, avait envoyé un courrier électronique offrant soutien et collaboration dans l'affaire des 144-146 MHz avant l'administration française.

Garder à l'esprit que le siège actuel d'EURAO est en France.

Tous deux ont échangé des points de vue et des préoccupations et ont convenu de l’importance de traiter cette question avec diligence et essayer le maximum de consensus.

Friedrichshafen reste le meilleur lieu de rencontre pour les Radioamateurs Européens et EURAO était là pour rester en contact avec ses membres et amis, contacter d'autres entités et tenir son Assemblée Générale.

L'Assemblée s’est très bien déroulée et toutes les questions ont été approuvées à l'unanimité, y compris une stratégie commune pour faire face à la menace sur la bande 144-146 MHz. Plusieurs nouveaux projets ont été discutés et lancés.

L'année prochaine, nous espérons vous y voir les 26 et 28 juin 2020.

On Saturday, June 22, at its booth A1-696 in the Friedrichshafen exhibition, the members of EURAO will meet again to discuss about the past, the present and especially the future of the organization, its projects and its next objectives. All of you are invited to attend this event.

Meeting once a year in Friedrichshafen is a real pleasure and the opportunity to listen others' ideas, share experiences and discuss about common issues. So we did, but instead of waiting in the booth, the president went to the middle of the fair.

Other activities, such as the EURAO's General Assembly and the ID-CCS7 workshop of DR@F for French operators, took place in the booth.

Next year we will see there in June 21-23, 2019.

IARU at last found some time to meet EURAO at Friedrichshafen. In the picture: G3BJ, ON4PM, EA3CIW and VE6SH preparing the first summit of both organisations.

After a pretty hot early summer, sanity was back on track, and what EURAO proposed two years ago: collaboration, it seems to start its way: there will be a meeting in December.

Now is the time to work on the agenda and the topics to be discussed. So comments and proposals are welcome. We will try to include them all, time permitting.

Being all member associations' booths close to each other in HAM RADIO 2017 exhibition was an excellent opportunity to continuously interact, try to find new common projects to carry on and receive feedback to improve old ones.

EURAO, ARR, CISAR, FEDI-EA, FRC, RNRE, URC and VRA were together in the same row: the EURAO Boulevard. In the picture during the General Assembly.

This is the detailed plan of EURAO Boulevard inside the HAM RADIO exhibition, to be held in Germany this year on 14-16 July. As you can see, in addition to EURAO booth (A1-662), there will be around also booths of the following member associations: RNRE (A1-660), CISAR (A1-666), URC (A1-661), ARR (A1-663), FRC (A1-665) and FEDI-EA (A1-667). Other member associations, like VRA, will be inside EURAO booth attending members, friends and visitors, listening opinions and sharing experiences.
